Neil's Profile
Neil is a Certified Training and Development Professional and has extensive experience in providing Training and Development and Occupational Health and Safety Consulting Services across a broad range of public and private enterprises.
He has worked in diverse areas:
- Mining (Open Cut and Underground);
- Exploration;
- Oil and Gas Sectors;
- Recreation;
- Retail and Franchising Industries;
- Utilities (Water, Electricity and Hydro-electricity);
- Certification Agencies;
- Vocational Training and community based services.
Additionally, he has indentured and trained apprentices.
Upon completion of his trade training as an Automotive Mechanical Engineer, Neil was enlisted into the Australian Military Forces. Following discharge, employment continued with the National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA). Having become accustomed to very disciplined training from his service career and at NASA, it became apparent to Neil that there existed a need for training excellence in industry.
Neil currently specialises in the design and delivery of training courseware including web based, interactive learning applications. He also provides customised consulting services in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental issues; including Workplace Assessments and System Audits, implementing and facilitating Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems and providing advice on legal compliance issues.
As a professional, Neil has an inquiring mind, a genuine interest in adult education and a commitment to the training and development of individual's safety in the workplace.
